J. Charles Blanton

J. Charles Blanton has practiced law in Boise since 1951. His practice emphasizes probate, trust and estate planning.

Mr. Blanton is a member of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has served as the Idaho representative to the Estate and Gift Tax Reform Committee. He is also a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law as well as a long standing member of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel.

He is a past President of the Boise Estate Planning Council and the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Blanton has served on the Board of Directors and Chairman of Boise State University Foundation, Inc., and on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital, Inc.

Mr. Blanton received his LL.B. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1951.
